Dolphin ICT’s managing director, Russell Till, shares a recent project completed by the team at the Best Western Mount Pleasant Hotel in Doncaster.

Nowadays, hotel guests expect fast access to top-class WiFi at all times and at Mount Pleasant hotel – one of our longest standing clients at Dolphin ICT – it’s no exception.

Earlier this year, the hotel was embarking on a major expansion project, creating brand new signature spa rooms where overnight guests can indulge in ultimate luxury, with their own private saunas and steam rooms.

The attention to detail in the rooms is outstanding, of course, but what’s a luxury hotel room without great WiFi connectivity? That’s where we come in.

We set up the network for the new part of the building, installing WiFi access points throughout, extending the hotel’s current system.

The work means hotel guests at Mount Pleasant can stay connected throughout their stay, wherever they are in the hotel – whether they want to get a spot of work done, or share their visit with their friends on social media.

When it comes to the hotel sector, guest experience is everything and it’s a pleasure to help our good friends at Mount Pleasant ensure their valued guests get the very best.

Commenting on our work at the hotel, Richard Tyas, general manager at Mount Pleasant, said: “Ensuring that our customers have the best possible experience with us is our number one priority.

“We’ve enjoyed a good working relationship with Dolphin ICT who have once again delivered exactly what we needed.

“Our guests travel from far and wide to stay at Mount Pleasant for both business and leisure purposes and ensuring that they have access to the relevant IT networks and WiFi is an essential part of our service.”
