IT upgrade for Lincolnshire Showground thanks to Doncaster company

A Doncaster based IT company has upgraded a range of IT Systems at Lincolnshire Showground, including new CCTV and wireless internet facilities.

Dolphin ICT were chosen by the Showground to upgrade the security camera systems making sure that site was visible and secure.

New cameras were installed which could be viewed remotely on mobile devices by staff members, as well as a number plate recognition system which has improved security on the site.

Jayne Southall, CEO at Lincolnshire Showground, said: “Because of the ease of use the system has been readily adopted by our management team and is now being accessed by events who use the site including the security services at major events like concerts.”

Dolphin ICT also installed a wireless internet upgrade which meant it could be accessed around the perimeter of the site, as well as advising the Showground on other options it could take to improve its IT systems.

Ms Southall added: “I have found it very helpful to have a single supplier who is able to advise us on all aspects of the application of IT in our operations to avoid the duplication of costs which has occurred in the past.”
